It is not intended to replace, or duplicate the Club’s website, which will remain the official record of the Club’s activities. Rather, it is intended to enhance the information on the website.

2023-24 CLUB COMMITTEE:the Club Committee was elected at our AGM on 8th Nov. 2023 Visit Purley Bowls Club/Committee & Officials to see the list of committee members.
*** BOWLR - Online Booking System ***
We have implemented an Online Booking System so members are able to book a time slot on the green from the comfort of their home using their mobile, tablet or PC. The online system has been implemented using the 'Bowlr' software which has been developed specifically for Bowls Clubs and has been used successfully by local clubs.
Informal training sessions canbe provided to enable members to familiarise themselves with the new technology. A laptop will be made available in the Bowls Clubhouse so that members can be guided as to how to book slots. A telephone booking facility will be provided as an alternative to the Online Booking System.
Futher information is available on our 'Playing Arrangement 2024' web page, and futher instructions and guidance will follow.
DRESS CODE

CLUB COMPETITION CHARTS
All club competition draw charts are published on 'Bowlr' and on the boards in the club house. Competition rules are published on this website at: 'Club Competitions/Rules & Draw' The Plate competitions are drawn up later and will appear on 'Bowlr' when published.
THE FOX FENCE ROTA IS PUBLISHED ON THE MEMBERS' PAGE
FIXTURE BOOKS & DIARIES
Our Bowls Club Fixture Books are distributed to members by hand or by Royal Mail (2nd class).
The Ladies' Match Diary, the Men's Match Diary and the Rink Booking Diary are also now available via Bowlr at Bowlr - Information.

SMOKING ON THE BOWLING GREEN
The Bowls Committee agreed in June 2012 that smoking isnot be allowed on the bowling green.
Smoking is allowed on the banks surrounding the green. Ash trays are provided on the banks.
