Ballots and organised roll-ups are open to ALL Purley Bowls Club members, and are a great opportunity for new members to learn alongside more experienced players. You are welcome to join any session - just turn up and sign the sheet in the clubhouse.

SUNDAY MORNING BALLOTS - 10.30 a.m. Start Sunday 23 May 2021 - organised by Richard & Elaine Applebee Held every Sunday when rinks are free (club and national competitions take precedence ). Please sign up by 10.15 a.m. on the morning. Dress code - Smart Casual (no jeans).
AD-HOC ROLL-UP (on the day) A system has been introduced to enable members to play on a vacant rink without having pre-booked. A member finding a vacant rink can play on the rink under the following conditions:
The member should enter the date and his/her name (and the names of other co-players, if any) in the “Roll-Up-and Play” book located outside the Bowls Clubroom;
If subsequently a member with a firm booking arrives to play on the rink, then the Roll-Up-and Play member must vacate the rink and, assuming one is available, move to another rink.
