Membership Fees for Short mat 2024-2025
Each player pays a Short Mat Membership fee of £24 and then additional charges for each discipline that they want to play.
These are one off charges covering membership and play across the entire Short Mat Bowls Season.
Short Mat charges are collected by direct debit by Purley Sports Club.

SHORT MAT ORGANISER (appointed by Bowls Club Committee): D SOUPPOURIS
Triples (Organiser D Souppouris)
The Organisers will make the draw for this competition, appoint captains and allocate match dates on Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday afternoons starting October 2024. The Organisers will select teams using outdoor handicaps, where available, to ensure the teams are equally matched. The top 4 teams will qualify for the semi-final knockout stage.
2-4-2 (Organiser H Marsh)
The Organisers will make the draw for this competition, appoint captains and allocate match dates on Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons starting October 2024. The Organisers will select teams using outdoor handicaps, where available, to ensure the teams are equally matched. The top 4 teams will qualify for the semi-final knockout stage.
Select Pairs (Organiser C Reynolds)
The Organisers will make the draw for this competition and allocate match dates, which will usually be on a on Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons, starting October 2024. The competition is played as a league. The team finishing first in the league are the winners.
Singles (Organiser Demetrios Souppouris)
The Singles Competition starts January 2025. Players should arrange their own matches by the play dates set by the Organisers. A schedule showing when there are free mats will be posted on the notice board.
