At Purley Bowls Club we offer many forms of the game of bowls ranging from social “Turn up and play” ballots to fully competitive inter club matches.

It is important to us that all players receive full coaching in how to deliver bowls and ensure you have a good bowls delivery before we let you loose on the green on your own. This is important to ensure that you gain confidence in your game and also to protect the facilities that we all enjoy especially the Green. Once your initial coaching is complete then you’re free to use the green whenever there is a free rink.

Our green is open from 10am until dusk. If there is daylight then it’s time to bowl.

So, whenever you can, get yourself down to Purley Bowls Club, have a bowl, play a match, have a practise, watch the seasoned players and learn the tactics of the game. Or maybe just come down for a drink and a chat on relaxing sunny (hopefully!) days.
