PURLEY BOWLS BONUS BALL (2025)

Our ‘Bonus Ball’ competition raises funds for our Bowls Club and is linked to the National Lottery ‘bonus ball’ drawn each Wednesday.

The draw is open to all Bowls Club members and their spouse/partner, i.e. 1 number per member, 1 number per spouse/partner.

The draw takes place every week on a Wednesday.

To be included in the draw, entrants must pay a one-off annual payment of £52. Ideally, payments to be made via bank transfer but if this is not possible, a cheque made payable to Purley Bowls Club will suffice.

There are 59 numbers available.

The prize each week will be £35; the remaining £24 goes into club funds. Winners are notified by email/telephone after the draw and winnings will be transferred into their account or a cheque will be issued by the Club Treasurer.

Only one number per person.

PURLEY BOWLS 200 CLUB

Rules for the monthly draws are as follows:

1. Members may participate in the ‘200 Club’ by purchasing entries costing £12 each. Each entry allows a member to participate in every monthly draw for a period of twelve months.
2. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be bought by each member. However, the total number of entries sold will not exceed two hundred.
3. Payment for each entry must be ‘up front’ as a single payment of £12.
4. The goal is to obtain an annual total of £2,400 (ie. £12 times 200). Of this amount, a maximum of £1,200 will go to Purley Bowls Club funds, and £1,200 to 12 monthly prize draws.
5. A draw will be held each month commencing in July, and continuing until the following June. The lucky winner will receive a prize of £75, and the runner-up will receive £25.Any number drawn will not be eligible to win a further prize in that month’s draw, but will of course be entered in subsequent monthly draws. The same person can win more than one prize in a draw, but with different numbered entries.

Bonus Prizes: Subject to sufficient entries being received for the year, the promoter may authorise additional bonus prizes of up to £100, to be drawn at the same time as the August draw (Barbecue Bonus) and at the April draw (Pre-Season Bonus). The availability of these Bonus prizes will be decided upon when numbers of participating entries is known.
