Purley Club Uniform for 2025 is as follows
- Shirt – Club Shirt must be worn. New players may wear plain white polo shirt if they dont yet have a club shirt.
- Trousers – Trousers, shorts or skirts must be black.
- Jackets and Jumpers – In cooler weather players may wear club gilet, club jackets, white jackets, white jumpers or white fleeces over their club shirt.
- Head wear – Caps, hats and/or visors are permitted. A club cap is available or white, grey or pink headwear is acceptable.
- Wet Weather clothing – For wet days players can wear wet weather jacket and trousers. These should preferably be white.
- Shoes – There are no restrictions on the colour of shoes for bowls however shoes must be flat sole – no heels are permitted on any green.
Purley Bowls Club Fleece
As of 2026 PBC members can purchase a Purley Bowls Club branded fleece with hood.
Ballots and Roll Ups:
Whilst there is no official dress code for ballots or rollups players are requested to wear smart casual clothing. (Torn or dirty jeans are not permitted nor are thin strapped sun tops for Ladies)
Inter Club Matches and all Internal Competition Matches including Finals Day
All inter club matches including friendles are to be played in club uniform.
Competiton Markers and Umpires
All markers should attend in club uniform. Umpires should prefreably wear a dark blue umpires shirt, sweatshirt or jacket.
Coaches
When hosting a formal coaching session a coach must wear a black T-Shirt or Sweatshirt and fix their name badge to their shirt to identify them as a coach. T-Shirts with the word coach on them can be bought from bowls organisations.
Important Dress & Umpires and County/National Officials or Past Officials are permitted to wear official National or County uniform when marking matches.
Be Sun Safe – In hot sunny weather all players are remCode Exception: County/National Markersinded to stay “sun safe” by protecting exposed skin with sun lotion, wearing appropriate headwear and keeping a bottle of water with them near the green.
